PROMOTION

  1. The “Fiji Gold 30th Birthday Promotion” (Promotion) gives you a chance to win any one of the prizes listed below:

Prizes:

Monthly Prizes (to be drawn in June, July and August 2025):

  • Bluetooth Speaker to 30 winners in June 2025
  • Smartphone to 30 winners in July 2025
  • 55” Flat Screen TV to 30 winners in August 2025
  • Fiji Gold gift packs (including vest, cap, opener, chiller bag and hoodie) to 10 winners per month in June, July and August 2025

One Major Prize (to be drawn in September 2025):

  • $30,000 cash giveaway to 1 lucky winner

2. The promoter for this Promotion is Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Pte Limited (Paradise Beverages or Promoter). The Promotion is administered on behalf of the Promoter by Farrimond Limited, located at 7 Abbey St, Auckland City, Auckland (“Administrator”).

HOW TO ENTER

3. The Promotion starts on 26 May 2025 at 12:00:00 am and ends on 4 September 2025 at 11:59:59 pm (Promotion Period).

4. To enter, participants need to purchase one (1) carton of any Fiji Gold beer product below:

  • (a) 24-pack of 330ml cans
  • (b) 24-pack of 355ml bottles
  • (c) 12-pack of 750ml bottles

during the Promotion Period from a participating retail outlet in Fiji, and:

  • (a) Locate the Unique QR Code on all promotional Point of Sale materials relating to this Promotion, including posters, press ads, billboards, signage and social media posts (Promotional Materials)
  • (b) Scan the QR code or click on the FijiGold.com.fj shown in the Promotional Materials to access the promotion landing page
  • (c) Enter your personal details such as your name, email, region and phone number on the Promotion landing page
  • (d) Upload a photo of the purchase receipt on the Promotion landing page – ensure the receipt shows the item purchased (a carton of Fiji Gold beer) and the date of purchase and submit the fully completed entry form

before the end of the Promotion Period (4/09/25).

5. Incomplete, invalid or entries not conforming to the entry requirements in these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.

6. Each complete entry received before the end of the Promotion Period will entitle the entrant to one entry into prize draw for prize. One purchase receipt will entitle the entrant to one entry.

PRIZES

7. The prizes to be won each month, from June 2025 to August 2025 are:

  • Bluetooth Speaker to 30 winners in June 2025
  • Smartphone to 30 winners in July 2025
  • 55” Flat Screen TV to 30 winners in August 2025
  • Fiji Gold gift packs (including vest, cap, opener, chiller bag and hoodie) to 10 winners per month in June, July and August 2025

8. There is one major prize to be drawn on September 6th, 2025, for $30,000 cash prize to one winner.

9. The total combined value of all prizes during the Promotion is FJD130,000.00

10. Pictures of prizes on Promotional Materials are for illustrative purposes only and may not depict the actual prize.

PRIZE DRAW

11. Draw dates for the Prizes are:

  • at 12pm on Friday, the 27th of June 2025 for entries between 26 May to 26 June 2025
  • at 12pm on Friday, the 25th of July 2025 for entries between 26 June to 24 July 2025
  • at 12pm on Friday, the 29th of August 2025 for entries between 24 July to 28 August 2025
  • at 2pm on Friday, the 6th of September 2025 for all entries received during the Promotion Period for major prize draw of $30,000

All times are in Fiji Standard Time. Paradise Beverages reserves the right to change the draw date or any of these terms and conditions at any time.

Winner Selection:

  • On the Promotion landing page, a random generator will select winners from valid entries.
  • Manual checks will be performed on a sample of winning receipts for authenticity.
  • Paradise Beverages reserves the right to disqualify entries suspected of being fraudulent, incomplete, or non-compliant with the rules.

The Prize Draws will take place at the Paradise Beverages office in Suva at 122 – 164 Foster Road, Walu Bay Suva, and winners will be announced on the ‘Fiji Gold Beer’ Facebook page a day after each draw. For more details, please visit www.paradisebeverages.com.fj.

12. All expenses incurred as part of a Prize (unless stated above as a component of the Prize) are the responsibility of each winner.

13. If, for any reason, any Prize or component of a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a similar Prize or component of a Prize of equal or greater value will be awarded to the relevant winner(s) in lieu of that Prize or component.

14. Paradise Beverages will attempt to contact each Prize winner within 5 Business Days (Monday to Friday) after each Prize Draw, by the telephone number provided on entering this Promotion. If a winner does not respond within 10 Business Days after the winner is announced, that winner’s entry will be declared invalid, and Paradise Beverages reserves the right to randomly draw a new winner of the relevant Prize(s) from the Eligible Entrants on the same terms and conditions as the original Prize draw.

15. To claim the prize, you must provide any relevant details (such as and not limited to age, I.D., name and address, proof of purchase,) required to comply with any eligibility requirements within ten (10) Business Days of being notified as a winner. Each prize (but not including the cash prize) is to be collected from Paradise Beverages, 122–164 Foster Road, Suva at the winner’s expense within 30 days of receipt and acceptance of the Prize. The $30,000 cash prize will be paid by direct credit into the winner’s Fiji bank account within 30 days of submission of their bank account details and valid photo identification. Paradise Beverages is not responsible or liable to replace misdirected or lost cash prizes should the winner provide their bank account details incorrectly.

16. Any prize that is not claimed as directed will be forfeited. No compensation will be payable if you are unable to claim your prize for whatever reason. Paradise Beverage’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

17. Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.

18. Submitting an entry in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

19. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who:

  • (i) are a citizen of Fiji and aged 18 years or older; and
  • (ii) are not employees of Paradise Beverages or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Promotion; and
  • (iii) are not a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such an employee; and
  • (iv) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.

20. Paradise Beverages decision made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of such decision.

21. Prior to receiving a Prize and being declared a winner, the Eligible Entrant shall:

  • (a) show proof of identity e.g. passport or driver’s license.
  • (b) produce proof of purchase of the Fiji Gold carton to allow Paradise Beverages to verify that the purchase is in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
  • (c) agree to the use of his or her name, city of residence, and photograph in all forms of media, without payment or other compensation, in any publicity carried out by Paradise Beverages and/or its advertising and promotional agencies.

In the event the winner is unable to provide such proof and/or is unable to provide such agreement, the Eligible Entrant shall forfeit the Prize.

22. Paradise Beverages shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for death or any personal injury suffered or sustained as consequence of participation in the Promotion or as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any Prize.

23. A Prize:

  • (a) is not transferable or exchangeable;
  • (b) is not able to be taken for cash; and
  • (c) must not be auctioned, raffled, sold, used, donated or given away, in part or in full, as part of another promotion or otherwise.

24. Paradise Beverages reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who Paradise Beverages has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at Paradise Beverages’ discretion. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Paradise Beverages’ legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

25. It is the winner’s responsibility to disclose to the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service the receipt of a Prize and to pay any taxes that may become due. Paradise Beverages accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning a cash prize. Entrants should obtain independent tax and financial advice.

26. If, for any reason, the administration, security, fairness, integrity, conduct or operation of this Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way outside the reasonable control of the Paradise Beverages (including but not limited to act of God; any act of a public enemy, war, civil unrest, or act of military authority; fire, flood, earthquake, landslide, or other elements of nature; any strike, lockout or other labour dispute; any act of a third party engaged in terrorist activity or sabotage; vandalism; tampering; power failures; computer bugs or viruses; unauthorised intervention; fraud or technical failures) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • (a) to disqualify any entrant; and/or
  • (b) as appropriate, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel; or recommence this Promotion (including withholding any prize).

27. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Paradise Beverages (including its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following incidents due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Paradise Beverages:

  • (a) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, for system failures at the handling house, or for any human error.
  • (b) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Paradise Beverages control);
  • (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference.
  • (d) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter);
  • (e) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms & Conditions of Entry; or
  • (f) use and enjoyment of the Prize.

28. All entries remain the property of Paradise Beverages.

29. Information provided by Eligible Entrants will be collected by the Promoter, through its Administrator, to enable it to administer and promote this Promotion and the winners of any competition. If the information requested is unreasonably withheld, the Eligible Participants may not participate in this Promotion. The personal information of Eligible Entrants may also be provided to others (including organizations outside of Fiji) assisting in the conduct of this Promotion, including the Promotion’s administrator, agencies and event coordinators, and to authorities that regulate the Promotion. Eligible Entrants acknowledge that they provide their consent for this to occur by participating in the Promotion. Eligible Entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information. Refer to the Privacy Policy for more information.

30. Paradise Beverages reserves its right to reasonably modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time without prior notice and with immediate effect. You agree that you will be bound by such changes and that you will not hold Paradise Beverages liable for any losses resulting from any such changes.

31. These Terms and Conditions of Entry are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Fiji and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Fiji.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE EVENT THAT ANY SUCH ATTEMPT IS MADE, WHETHER OR NOT THAT ATTEMPT RESULTS IN ANY SUCH DAMAGE, INTERFERENCE OR UNDERMINING.
